qLegal Student Socialising During Covid-19 Times
qLegal offers more than just enhancing legal skills. Even during the pandemic, the programme serves as an opportunity to build network, make friends and feel like family.
qLegal brings postgraduate law students a broad range of essential skills which will undoubtedly enhance their employability after completing their studies. These include interviewing, legal research, analysis and drafting skills. Furthermore, trainings and client work increase their commercial awareness and collaboration skills.
However, qLegal is more than a great learning experience. Since the very beginning of this exceptional semester, the qLegal team paid significant attention to the connection of their students. Online lectures and stay-at-home policies became the rule during the Covid-19 pandemic. This makes meeting fellow students extremely hard and therefore rare. As a result, socializing activities during isolated times were welcomed more than ever.
qLegal organises weekly social events, allowing students to catch up with friends and connect with new people. Emphasis is given to every student individually and all people attending have the chance to participate in pub-quizzes with fun questions every week. Furthermore, online yoga classes give students the chance to (virtually) come together, move, breath and relax their mind in the middle of a busy week.
qLegal online social events will continue to take place weekly during the second semester, giving the opportunity to January intakes to attend as well.
Because what is more valuable than having friends all over the word (wide web)?
